How We Install Your Resin Bound Driveway

Free Site Survey

Base Preparation
If the existing tarmac or concrete base is sound we clean and prime it. If not, we excavate, install hardcore sub-base and lay a fresh tarmac binder course as the resin base. Correct falls for drainage set at this stage.

Edge Restraint
Install concrete edge restraint or kerbstones around the perimeter. This defines the finished edge of the resin surface and prevents edge wear over time.

Resin & Aggregate Mix
On-site, we mix UV-stable polyurethane resin with your chosen decorative aggregate in a forced-action mixer in the correct ratio. Mixed material is trowelled immediately onto the primed base at consistent 15-20mm thickness.

Trowel Finish, Cure & Handover
The mixed resin bound is hand-trowelled smooth, left to cure for 8-12 hours depending on temperature, and then walked-on and driven-on after the cure window. Care guidance provided at handover.
