WHY PORCELAIN
PAVING?
Porcelain paving is one of the most durable outdoor surfaces available. Fired at extremely high temperatures, the tiles are virtually non-porous, making them frost-proof, stain-resistant and incredibly hard-wearing.
They hold their colour for life, never need sealing, and clean up with just water. Available in a wide range of styles from natural stone effects to sleek contemporary finishes.

THE BENEFITS OF
PORCELAIN.
Frost & Weather Proof
With less than 0.5% water absorption, porcelain will not crack in freezing conditions. Built for the Irish climate.
Anti-Slip Surface
Textured R11-rated finish gives excellent grip in all weather. Safer underfoot than polished stone or concrete.
Zero Maintenance
Non-porous surface resists stains, moss and algae. No sealing required, ever. A quick wash is all it needs.
Premium Aesthetic
Choose from natural stone effects, wood grain or sleek contemporary finishes. Consistent colour and sizing throughout.

PORCELAIN PATIO FAQ.
How does porcelain compare to natural stone?+
Porcelain is manufactured to be consistent in colour, size and thickness, so you get a more uniform finish. It is also harder, less porous and more resistant to staining and frost damage than most natural stone. Natural stone offers a more traditional look, while porcelain suits a modern, clean aesthetic.
Are porcelain patios slippery when wet?+
No. The porcelain tiles we use have a textured, anti-slip surface rated R11 or higher. This gives excellent grip even in wet Irish weather. They are safer underfoot than many polished natural stones.
Can porcelain tiles crack in frost?+
Porcelain has an extremely low water absorption rate (less than 0.5%), which makes it virtually frost-proof. Unlike natural stone or concrete, water cannot penetrate the surface, so there is no risk of freeze-thaw cracking.
How do you maintain a porcelain patio?+
Porcelain patios require very little maintenance. A simple wash with soapy water or a gentle pressure wash keeps them looking new. Stains, moss and algae wipe off easily because the surface is non-porous. No sealing is ever required.
How much does a porcelain patio cost?+
The cost depends on the size of the area, the tile range selected and the amount of groundwork needed. Porcelain is a premium product, but its long lifespan and zero maintenance make it excellent value over time. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for every project.
