WHY CHOOSE
NATURAL STONE?
Natural stone is one of the most beautiful and hard-wearing materials you can use for a patio. Every slab has its own unique texture, colour variation, and character that no manufactured product can replicate.
We work with Indian sandstone, granite, and limestone to create outdoor spaces that complement your home and garden. Properly laid and sealed, a natural stone patio will look better with age and last for decades.

THE BENEFITS OF
NATURAL STONE.
Timeless Character
Every slab is unique with natural colour variation and texture. Your patio will have a warmth and character that manufactured products simply cannot match.
Unique Texture
From the riven finish of Indian sandstone to the smooth elegance of limestone, natural stone offers a range of textures to suit any style of home.
Incredible Durability
Natural stone has been used in construction for centuries. It handles heavy foot traffic, garden furniture, and harsh Irish weather without fading or wearing down.
Adds Property Value
A well-designed natural stone patio is one of the best investments you can make in your property. It adds genuine kerb appeal and lasting value.
HOW WE INSTALL
STONE PATIOS.
Stone Selection
We visit your property, discuss your preferences, and help you choose the right stone type and colour. We bring samples so you can see exactly how they look against your home.
Site Preparation
We excavate to the correct depth and install a compacted sub-base with proper drainage falls. This is the foundation of a patio that will not sink or shift over time.
Laying & Cutting
Each slab is hand laid on a full mortar bed and carefully levelled. We cut around edges, curves, and obstacles for a clean, precise finish throughout.
Pointing & Sealing
Joints are pointed with a colour-matched compound, then the entire patio is sealed to protect against staining and algae. We do a final walkthrough to make sure you are happy.

"Paul and his team did an incredible job on our back patio. The stone work is beautiful and the attention to detail was second to none. We could not be happier with the result."

NATURAL STONE FAQ.
What is the difference between sandstone and limestone for patios?+
Indian sandstone has a warm, earthy tone with natural variation in colour. It is slightly softer and more textured underfoot. Limestone is denser with a more uniform, contemporary look. Both are excellent choices for Irish gardens, and we can help you pick the right one during a free site visit.
Does natural stone need to be sealed?+
We strongly recommend sealing natural stone after installation. A quality sealant protects against staining, algae growth, and moisture penetration. It also enhances the natural colour of the stone and makes ongoing maintenance much easier.
Will natural stone crack in frost?+
High quality natural stone that is properly laid on a full mortar bed with correct drainage will handle Irish winters without issue. We use only frost-resistant grade stone and ensure proper falls so water does not sit on the surface.
How long does a natural stone patio last?+
A properly installed natural stone patio will last a lifetime. Sandstone and granite patios regularly last 30 years or more with minimal maintenance. The stone actually improves with age, developing a beautiful natural patina over time.
Is natural stone more expensive than porcelain or concrete paving?+
Natural stone sits at a similar price point to high quality porcelain. It costs more than standard concrete paving, but the character, durability, and long term value make it a worthwhile investment. We provide free, no obligation quotes so you can compare options.
