Every resin driveway is mixed to order from a Daltex aggregate of your choice. Below are the six finishes we install most often, plus the full Daltex colour range. Decorative borders, banding and inlays can be added in any contrasting colour.

Cool grey aggregate with white flecks. Pairs with charcoal block borders for a contemporary look.

Warm grey with golden hints. Our most-requested all-rounder, suits both modern and period homes.

Soft golden buff aggregate. Brightens shaded driveways and complements red-brick frontages.

Rich terracotta tone. Strong kerb appeal against stone or render façades.

Pale cream aggregate. Reflects light, makes smaller driveways feel larger.

Decorative borders and inlays — diamond, banding or compass features in a contrasting Daltex colour.

Terenure is an established south Dublin suburb with period red-brick homes around the village, mature detached and semi-detached properties along Fortfield Road and Templeogue Road, and quieter streets toward Bushy Park and the Dodder. Most plots take resin well on a sound prepared base, with a fresh tarmacadam base where the existing surface has failed. South Dublin County Council and Dublin City Council handle planning depending on the boundary.
Terenure is one of south Dublin's most established residential suburbs, with period red-brick homes around the village and Terenure Road, mature detached and semi-detached properties along Fortfield Road and Templeogue Road, and quieter streets running down toward Bushy Park and the Dodder. Resin bound driveways suit this mix well: the seamless finish complements both the older red-brick frontages and the more modern builds, and the maintenance load is far lower than gravel or block paving.
Resin bound paving is laid as a 15-18mm wear course of clear UV-stable resin and graded natural stone aggregate, troweled hot onto a properly prepared tarmac or concrete base. The finish is fully permeable, SuDS-compliant, and contains no loose stones to migrate or wash away. On the typical Terenure front driveway this matters: gravel needs regular top-ups and spreads onto the footpath, block paving settles unevenly over time, while resin holds its shape and finish for years.
For Terenure we often specify warm gold, mocha and autumn quartz blends that sit well against red-brick and granite, and move toward cooler greys and charcoals for contemporary frontages. Aggregate samples are matched directly to the house and any existing brick or stonework on the site survey.
Being based in Kildare with daily Dublin work, Terenure is a straightforward run via the M50 and Templeogue. We have laid resin driveways across the south Dublin corridor for years, and the standards needed here, base preparation, edge detail, drainage and aggregate quality, are all routine. Most resin jobs start within two to three weeks of the signed quote.
A critical detail on Terenure driveways is the substrate. Resin must go onto sound, properly graded tarmac or concrete with the right falls. Where an existing surface has failed, we lay a fresh tarmacadam base first to guarantee the foundation, then resin on top. We never apply resin onto a marginal base, because the surface looks new at handover and then telegraphs every flaw underneath after one Irish winter.
Terenure resin work often coordinates with wider detail: granite or limestone setts cut into the resin as borders or contrasting bands, clean transitions to natural stone paths, a granite step feature at the front door, and tidy integration with existing garden walls, piers and planting. Every driveway is delivered as a coordinated piece of work rather than a bare paving job.
"I recently had my driveway transformed by Paul. We discussed all our options and decided resin was the best fit. The driveway was completed to exceptional standards."
