Cool grey aggregate with white flecks. Pairs with charcoal block borders for a contemporary look.
Premium resin bound driveways across Killiney, from the substantial detached homes up Killiney Hill Road and Strathmore Road to the period properties around the village core and the larger plots along Military Road. The most modern, lowest-maintenance driveway finish for Killiney properties.

Every resin driveway is mixed to order from a Daltex aggregate of your choice. Below are the six finishes we install most often, plus the full Daltex colour range. Decorative borders, banding and inlays can be added in any contrasting colour.

Cool grey aggregate with white flecks. Pairs with charcoal block borders for a contemporary look.

Warm grey with golden hints. Our most-requested all-rounder, suits both modern and period homes.

Soft golden buff aggregate. Brightens shaded driveways and complements red-brick frontages.

Rich terracotta tone. Strong kerb appeal against stone or render façades.

Pale cream aggregate. Reflects light, makes smaller driveways feel larger.

Decorative borders and inlays — diamond, banding or compass features in a contrasting Daltex colour.

Killiney is one of the most exclusive residential corridors in south Dublin, with substantial detached homes climbing the hill from Killiney village to Killiney Hill Road, Strathmore Road and the streets backing onto Killiney Hill Park. Sloping sites are common, granite and limestone stonework is widespread, and resin bound driveways suit the architecture and the topography exceptionally well. Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council handles all planning.
Killiney is one of the most exclusive residential corridors in Dublin, with substantial detached homes climbing the hill from Killiney village up to Killiney Hill Road, Strathmore Road and the streets backing onto Killiney Hill Park. Resin bound driveways suit Killiney exceptionally well: the seamless finish flatters the architecture, the natural stone aggregate range matches the granite and limestone stonework common across the area, and the sloping sites benefit from a permeable surface that handles water properly.
Resin bound paving is laid as a 15-18mm wear course of clear UV-stable resin and graded natural stone aggregate, troweled hot onto a properly prepared tarmac or concrete base. The finish is fully permeable, SuDS-compliant, and free of loose stones. On Killiney sloping sites this matters: gravel migrates downhill over time, while resin holds its shape indefinitely.
For Killiney we typically specify warm-tone aggregates that complement granite stonework on period houses, or cooler greys and charcoals for the more contemporary builds along Killiney Hill Road and Strathmore Road. Bowland golden, Daltex Mocha and Autumn Quartz mixes are particularly strong on hill-house sites.
Being based in Kildare with crews in Dublin daily, Killiney is a 50-minute run via the M50. Sloping Killiney plots and longer hill drives are routine work for us. Most resin jobs start within two to three weeks of the signed quote, with longer lead times if we need to lay a fresh tarmacadam base first.
On Killiney hill sites the substrate question is critical. Sloping driveways need a perfectly graded sub-base before resin goes on, with the right falls, edge restraint and drainage. We have laid resin on Killiney slopes that other contractors had walked away from, and the trick every time is base preparation, not the resin itself. Where the existing base is sound we lay direct, where it is not we install fresh tarmacadam first.
Killiney resin work often runs alongside wider hardscape: granite or limestone steps cut into the resin transition between driveway levels, rendered or stone-faced retaining walls supporting the parking bay, integrated lighting in the resin matrix, and clean transitions into porcelain paths leading to the front door. Every Killiney resin driveway we lay is delivered as a coordinated design piece.
"Paul and team did an excellent job on a substantial piece of land. We are absolutely delighted with the tarmac and curbing it looks fantastic, would certainly recommend him to anyone."
