Resin bound paving is laid as a 15-18mm wear course of clear UV-stable resin and graded natural stone aggregate, troweled hot onto a properly prepared tarmac or concrete base. The finish is fully permeable, SuDS-compliant, free of loose stones, and stays UV-stable for the full design life. On newer estate work the existing concrete or tarmac is usually sound enough to take resin direct.

Foothill-edge plots toward Ballinteer and Sandyford Road can have sloping sites that benefit from resin bound's grip and edge stability. Where the slope is steep we add deeper edge restraint and matrix-grade-appropriate aggregate to keep the resin stable.
