Daltex Silver
Cool grey aggregate with white flecks. Pairs with charcoal block borders for a contemporary look.
Premium resin bound driveways across Ballsbridge, from the period red-brick terraces along Pembroke Road, Wellington Road and the embassy district to the larger detached properties along Shrewsbury Road, Ailesbury Road and the side streets toward Sandymount.

Every resin driveway is mixed to order from a Daltex aggregate of your choice. Below are the six finishes we install most often, plus the full Daltex colour range. Decorative borders, banding and inlays can be added in any contrasting colour.

Cool grey aggregate with white flecks. Pairs with charcoal block borders for a contemporary look.

Warm grey with golden hints. Our most-requested all-rounder, suits both modern and period homes.

Soft golden buff aggregate. Brightens shaded driveways and complements red-brick frontages.

Rich terracotta tone. Strong kerb appeal against stone or render façades.

Pale cream aggregate. Reflects light, makes smaller driveways feel larger.

Decorative borders and inlays — diamond, banding or compass features in a contrasting Daltex colour.

Ballsbridge sits at the heart of Dublin 4 with period red-brick terraces along Pembroke Road, Wellington Road and Shelbourne Road, the embassy district, and substantial detached/semi-detached properties on Shrewsbury Road, Ailesbury Road and Anglesea Road. Driveways are typically smaller than south county work but design detail is finer-grained. Dublin City Council handles all planning.
Ballsbridge sits at the heart of Dublin 4 with one of the most distinctive period housing profiles in the city. Red-brick terraces along Pembroke Road, Wellington Road, Shelbourne Road and the embassy district streets, alongside substantial detached and semi-detached properties on Shrewsbury Road, Ailesbury Road and Anglesea Road. Resin bound driveways are exceptionally well-suited to D4 period properties: the seamless natural-stone finish complements the brick and stone fronts, the permeable surface handles Dublin coastal-adjacent weather properly, and the maintenance load is the lowest of any driveway type.
Resin bound paving is laid as a 15-18mm wear course of clear UV-stable resin and graded natural stone aggregate, troweled hot onto a properly prepared tarmac or concrete base. The finish is fully permeable, SuDS-compliant, free of loose stones, and stays UV-stable for the full design life. For Ballsbridge period properties this means a clean modern surface that lifts kerb appeal substantially without competing with the original architecture.
For Ballsbridge we typically specify warm gold, mocha and bronze aggregates that complement red-brick stonework. Daltex Mocha, Bowland golden, Autumn Quartz and warm-toned blends are routine specifications. For the more contemporary D4 builds we move toward silver-grey and charcoal blends. Aggregate samples are matched directly to the existing facade on the on-site survey.
Being based in Kildare with daily Dublin work, Ballsbridge is a 35-minute run via the M50. We have laid resin driveways across D4 for years. Most jobs start within two to three weeks of the signed quote.
A critical Ballsbridge detail is the constrained site. D4 driveways are typically smaller than the executive-estate work in south county Dublin, but the standards are higher and the design detail tighter. Edge restraint, granite sett borders, contrast bands and clean transitions to existing path stone all matter more on a 25 square metre Ballsbridge driveway than on a 100 square metre executive plot.
Ballsbridge resin work also frequently coordinates with original stonework. We match aggregate tones to existing limestone or granite walls, cut new sett borders to match original kerbs, and integrate resin transitions cleanly into existing path stone. The work is finer-grained but the design payoff is significant on a D4 period property.
"I couldn't recommend Paul from Delaney Tarmac enough. Paul himself came out to discuss with us, went into every little detail and designed our dream patio, even better than we could have imagined. We also got our driveway tarmaced with the highest quality materials."
