Dundrum has one of the most varied housing profiles in south Dublin. Porcelain paving is laid as 20mm dense-vitrified slabs on a full sand-and-cement bed over a properly compacted sub-base. Joints are hand-pointed with a flexible jointing compound that stays weather-tight for decades. Dense vitrification means porcelain does not absorb water, does not stain, does not freeze-crack and does not need annual sealing.

For Dundrum we typically specify warm sandstone and travertine tones for period properties around the village green, contemporary greys for foothill-edge builds, and balanced silver-greys for the 1970s-1980s family homes that make up the bulk of housing. Stone-effect porcelain finishes that mimic limestone, granite and sandstone are also routine.
