BLOCK PAVING OFFALY.

Offaly's Block Paving Specialists
Block paving is one of the most decorative driveway surfaces we install in Offaly. Premium Kilsaran and Tobermore ranges hold up beautifully across Tullamore, Birr, Banagher and the Offaly family estate corridor when laid on a proper sub-base with hand-cut edges and properly jointed.
We hand-lay every block paving driveway in Offaly on a minimum 150mm compacted hardcore sub-base (deeper on bog-edge plots), screeded coarse bedding sand, hand-cut edges, kiln-dried jointing sand brushed in and re-sanded after settling. Cheap installs skip these steps and the driveway fails within 5 years.
The colour and pattern range is extensive, traditional rumbled cobble for period properties around Birr and central Tullamore, contemporary linear plank for newer estate homes, granite-effect blends for executive plots, and contrast borders or feature bands tying drive design to existing landscape detail. Sample boards brought to every on-site survey.
Bog-edge plots in north Offaly toward Edenderry need particular attention to sub-base depth before block paving goes on. We always lay 250-300mm hardcore with geotextile separation in those positions to prevent long-term settlement of the blocks.
Rated 5 stars by homeowners across Dublin and Leinster.
Every job backed by our 5-year workmanship guarantee.

Why Offaly Homeowners Choose Delaney Block Paving
Premium Kilsaran & Tobermore Only
We use Irish-made Kilsaran and Tobermore block paving exclusively. Long colour life, dimensional accuracy, full pattern range. Cheaper imported blocks have shorter colour life and less consistent dimensions.
Hand-Laid With Proper Sub-Base
Minimum 150mm compacted hardcore on standard ground, 250-300mm on bog-edge plots. Screeded bedding sand, hand-laid blocks, hand-cut edges, kiln-dried jointing sand brushed in.
Wide Pattern & Colour Range
Traditional rumbled cobble, contemporary linear plank, granite-effect, multi-tone blends, herringbone, basket weave, stretcher bond. Sample boards brought to every survey.
Bog-Edge Sub-Base Awareness
North Offaly bog-edge plots get 250-300mm sub-base with geotextile separation before blocks go on. Standard depths fail on those sites.
